The next live meeting of the Advanced Thinkers Forum will
take place in Cambridge, MA on November 4 & 5, 2004.
The
first live Advanced Thinker’s Forum, co-sponsored by
the Harvard Graduate School of Education, convened at Harvard
University in May 2003.
The
second Advanced Thinker’s Forum co-sponsored by IBM
Learning Services was held at the IBM Executive Conference
Center in Palisades, NY in November 2003.
All
of these events provide attendees with an opportunity to expand
their personal networks through rich conversations. The forums
are designed to generate collective models based on interdisciplinary
perspectives, shared intellectual property that enables individuals
to enhance their work with their companies or clients through
their mutual learning. The third live forum is scheduled for
October 2004 in Westchester, NY.
On-going
dialogue among the Advanced Thinker’s Forum members
takes place in a collaborative website facility provided by
Communispace Corporation and through small live events. This
dialogue continues the generative conversations and connections
begun at the live events to help the community sustain itself.
The Advanced Thinker’s Forum is managed by Snider Associates
and
a community of individual consultants and practitioners exploring
the challenge of facilitating and supporting large-scale change.
